A Transformative Power That Adds Value to Society
As GL Platform Fuarcılık, we measure our corporate success not only through commercial balance sheets, but also through the positive impact we create in society. For us, exhibitions are not merely commercial spaces where products are displayed, but also powerful communication platforms where solutions to social issues are developed. We take initiative in many areas such as education, the environment, and women’s employment, acting with the principle that “the winner should not only be our company, but also the society we live in.”
The Tangible Values We Create for a Better Future

Women's Empowerment
By supporting women entrepreneurs and women's cooperatives with a special status at our exhibitions, we ensure their active and strong participation in economic life.

Vocational Training and Youth
By hosting students, who are the future of the industry, at our exhibition grounds with internship and "on-site experience" programs, we bridge theoretical knowledge with practice and contribute to the development of a qualified workforce.

Food Security and Waste Prevention
To prevent the waste of tons of products exhibited, especially at our food exhibitions, we collaborate with food banks and coordinate the delivery of these products to those in need.

Preservation of Cultural Heritage
We strive to support the transformation of Turkish brands from being perceived as "contract manufacturers" into key players with genuine "brand value."

Social
Awareness
By turning the massive foot traffic generated by our exhibitions into an advantage, we provide free space to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focusing on health, environment, and social rights, helping them make their voices heard.
An Approach That Touches People and Improves Society
Positive Discrimination for Women’s Labor
GL Platform, as a structure where women leaders have a voice at management levels, is one of the strongest advocates of gender equality in the business world. At our exhibitions, we implement a “positive discrimination” policy for cooperatives founded by women, women entrepreneurs producing handmade goods, and SMEs managed by women. By offering discounted participation opportunities, special promotional areas, and educational support, we help them transform “home-based production” into “commercial value.”
Our aim is not only to provide women with stands, but also to inspire them with courage and vision. By bringing women producers together at the same table with purchasing managers of major retail chains and exporters, we become one of their strongest supporters on their journey toward economic independence. Because we know that in a society where women are empowered, both the economy and the future rise on much stronger foundations.
Bringing Qualified Human Resources to the Sector
In order to contribute to solving Türkiye’s need for “qualified intermediate staff,” one of the country’s major challenges, we position our exhibitions as “Open-Air Schools.” Within the framework of protocols we establish with vocational high schools and universities, we host young people studying in relevant departments at our exhibitions. We see them not only as visitors, but as the “professionals of the future,” and organize “Career Days” where they can meet industry leaders and access job and internship opportunities.
Increasing young people’s belief in and interest in the sector is one of our primary social impact goals. For an agricultural engineering candidate, seeing the latest technology at an agriculture fair, or for a gastronomy student, meeting renowned chefs at a tourism fair, may become a turning point in their career journey. Through the organizations we hold, we consider it our duty to ignite this “spark” and keep young people’s hopes alive.
Globalization of Local Values: Glocalization
Against the risk of local cultures disappearing in a globalized world, we use our exhibitions as a “Cultural Protection Shield.” In every city we visit, we give the most prestigious areas of the fair to that region’s geographically indicated products, local flavors, and traditional production methods. By enabling local producers to introduce the “product of their village” to buyers from all around the world, we integrate the local economy with the global market.
This approach is not only a commercial activity, but also a form of cultural ambassadorship. Through our exhibitions, we present Anatolia’s thousands of years of production culture, gastronomic richness, and craftsmanship to the world. By ensuring that local values receive the material and spiritual recognition they deserve, we make an indirect yet highly effective contribution to preventing migration from rural areas to cities and supporting local development.
